My goal in life is to be a writer. After being asked the question,"What do you want to do with your life?" repeated times, the answer finally came to. I love writing anything, but I prefer writing fiction to nonfiction. My dreams career goals right now would to become a professional screenwriter or comic book writer. While I do prefer fiction, there are a couple of nonfiction jobs I would enjoy. There was a magazine my parents suscribed to when I was a child, Nintendo Power, and I continued the suscribtion once I was old enough. Also working for envrionmental or entertainment publications seem like they'd be a lot of fun.
What I would like this class to do for me is improve my writing technique. I would like to be taught how to say what I want and cut out the extra. This would be an useful talent for journalism careers, but it could help cut out a lot of extra details in my fictitious works, as well. I'm looking forward to this class and I think it'll be a lot of fun.
